Away from the distinctly South Korean nature of the city of Busan is the idyllic island world of Oedo Island, famous for its European atmosphere and marine botanical garden. This day tour from Busan will first take you to a visit the famous Windy Hill, the setting of many a famous Korean drama series before you hop onto a ferry and head off to Oedo Island. On the way, you’ll see Haeguemgang Island in the distance, a beautiful land mass of white cliffside and greenery. Upon landing at Oedo Island, you can visit its most famous sights such as the marine botanical garden, and climb the steps called “Stairway to Heaven”, which gives you a breathtaking view of the terrace, and beyond it, the blue ocean. All over Oedo Island are a myriad of ornamental flowers, particularly richly-colored camellias, making it a romantic photo destination. It’s the perfect chance to get beautiful photographs among the blooms before you head back to Busan. Itinerary: - This tour is available every Monday and Friday - 7:20am depart from KTX Busan Station Exit 1 - 7:40am depart from Seomyun Station Exit 12 - 8:20am depart from Haeundae Station Exit 5 - 10:40am arrive at Windy Hill - 11:40am leave for Jangseungpo Ferry Terminal - 12:30pm arrive at Jangseungpo Ferry Terminal (free time for lunch) - 1:50pm leave for Oedo Island - 1:50pm-2:40pm view the scenery of Haeguemgang Island before traveling to Oedo Island - 2:40pm arrive at Oedo Island - 4:10pm leave for Jangseungpo Ferry Terminal - 4:40pm arrive at Jangseungpo Ferry Terminall and leave for Busan - 6:40pm arrive at Haeundae Station - 7:10pm arrive at Seomyun Station - 7:30pm arrive at Busan Station

  • The Oedo Island Ferry may not be able to depart in bad weather conditions, for the safety of passengers. In this case, the Oedo Island trip will be replaced with a trip to Geoje SeaWorld

  • Children aged 0-2 may participate as long as they won't be occupying seats
  • Please inform us if you will be bringing along a baby stroller or wheelchair
Luggage Storage:
  • In case you would like to store your luggage at the train stations instead of bringing it to the island, please check in your luggage at one of these stations:

KTX Busan Station Locker Rental:

  • Price: KRW 2,000-6,000
  • Time: Service is available all day, but pick up and drop off need to be within the same day
  • Please note that the amount of lockers is limited, you may be unable to use the service if you don't arrive early

Busan Station Luggage Storage Service-ZIM CARRY:

  • Price: KRW 7,000 (present your KTX ticket for a KRW 2,000 discount)
  • Time: daily 7:30am-10:00pm
  • Address: near exit 1 of KTX Busan Station
