Asuka is known as the cradle of Japanese civilization. It was Japan’s first capital during the Asuka period, which stretched over a hundred years from the end of the sixth century. On this tour, you will be led by a Japanese comedian and native Asukan, Saku Yanagawa, who will guide you by bicycle to many local interesting points, including temples, monuments, and beautiful Japanese scenery. Saku will also present a food tour of Asuka during which you will be able to sample ice cream, tempura, Asuka rice, and local strawberries called Asuka rubies. Itinerary: 1. Toyura Temple 2.
