Get the opportunity to romp around the castle’s beautiful and picturesque gardens, feel like royalty while going for a stroll around the Great Hall, and admire all the weapons and armor of Scottish soldiers. Also, get the opportunity to enter the Royal Palace, where the legendary Crown Jewels are on display for the public to see. Somewhere in the castle is the famous Stone of Scone, where royalty sat down during their coronations; sit down and imagine yourself being crowned. You’ll also visit the St. Margaret’s Chapel, which is considered to be the oldest surviving building in Edinburgh; stand in awe before it and be humbled as you step inside its consecrated interiors. If you want to learn more about the country’s military history, you can visit the National War Memorial and Regiment Museum. This is a must for history buffs and for those fascinated with royalty.
