One of the best things about Phuket is the hundreds of islands you can find all around nearby, each with their own unique features and allure. Spend a day away on an island beyond Phuket and enjoy all the little charms it has to offer! Here are 5 islands you could stop by near Phuket!

Koh Phi Phi

One of the top island destinations, Koh Phi Phi is considered a must-see especially after it was featured in Hollywood blockbuster, “The Beach”. With its mesmerising limestone cliffs and white sandy beaches, there is plenty to see and do on this small island with no cars or roads. Stop by Maya Bay, one of the most beautiful natural sights in the whole country or visit the Viking Cave located at the bottom of a tall limestone cliff. Bask in the natural sights in the area but be warned, it can get incredibly busy on this brilliant island!

Surrounded by emerald waters and white sandy beaches, Koh Lanta is home to arguably one of the best beaches in the entire world. You can find corals just off the shore and you can have one of the best diving experiences especially because the waters are clear here. A must-see sight here is the Khao Mai Kaew Cave, a unique and narrow cave where there are cave pools which you can even dive into!
