7. Indian Coffee House, Connaught Place
Get ready for a short history lesson because Indian Coffee House is the most historically significant coffee house chain in India. The chain was previously owned by the Indian Coffee Board before it closed all its outlets, leaving many unemployed. Socialist leader A. K. Gopalan planted the idea of turning it into a worker-owned co-operative. The board then agreed to hand the chain over to them.
