Rain or shine, you can always head down to an indoor playground for a day full of fun activities. Located in City Square Mall, right next to Farrer Park MRT, lies Airzone! Airzone is the world’s first indoor atrium net playground that spans over four levels with four different activities.

Right before you enter, this is what greets you on their first level — a giant inflatable goal post and a big colorful ball. This adds a kick to your average soccer game. Getting around to kick the ball into the goalpost was challenging because of the bouncy nets. Sometimes, you can even find yourself landing on your bottom when you try to kick the ball. It’s definitely a physical but fun activity.

The second floor is designated for moonwalking and freefalling. The nets are designed for falling gymnasts and can withstand at least two fully loaded buses. With such elasticity and durability, visitors utilize this space by jumping as high as they can. The company also provides guests with two big balls for those who want to engage in a simple activity.

Moving on to the third floor would be the 3D maze. This is a popular favorite for children as they venture through a crazy set of obstacles to get through. It forces the children to be agile and sometimes it even turns into a friendly competition on who can get to the end first. It was definitely enjoyable to watch their ruckus and commentary just to overcome this adventure.

Probably, my favorite activity — The Giant Slide gave me the most nerve-wracking yet thrilling experience. Getting to the top itself was a very (literally) shaky and edgy feat for me. But, when I reached the top and finally slid down, I felt so exhilarated. The journey down was so smooth and fast which only excited me even more.

All in all, this indoor playground reminds me of a huge bouncy castle only that it’s suspended and is filled with different activities. It’s perfectly family-friendly and due to social distancing, the playground provides ample space for guests to roam around and enjoy. I got my tickets from the Native Marketplace but you can also get tickets from Airzone itself and immediately book the slots that you want to go. Head down this weekend if you’re searching for a day of family fun!
