Nicknamed as the “city of dreams'', Vienna definitely has a dream-like beauty to its cityscape. Where the imperial city resides, Vienna has seen the most revolutionary changes during different historical periods and eras ranging from elaborate Baroque-style monuments to 20th century modern architecture .

The architecture in Vienna is rusty yet golden, a good mix of both architectural grandeur and cosmopolitanism. Its buildings are tall and stylish amidst the busy and roaming streets. They look especially magnificent in the setting sun.

Salzburg is like a sleeping giant - a city that is quiet and still but bursts into music and song when awake. Home to many classical music composers such as Mozart and Schubert, the city holds the world’s famous Salzburg Festival of classical music.

Salzburg is also famously known for the setting of The Sound of Music and thanks to the huge fame attributed to the film, many have swamped over to Salzburg for a peak at the iconic sites such as the Mirabell Gardens or the Residenzplatz.

Known as the “Rome of the North”, Salzburg definitely has a tinkling charm from its rustic, yet timeless views of Baroque architecture paired with surrounding mountains
