Other than lazing by the beach, which is a luxurious experience in itself, Boracay has an array of activities to get the heart pumping and blood moving. So if you think you are bored with sunbathing, here are some fun activities that you should try.
Scuba Diving
Boracay is known for having vibrant biodiversity in its waters. From colorful corals to fishes and turtles, diving is an enjoyable pastime to discover this whole other world under the sea. There are 25 dive sites on this island alone and different dive sites are open during different monsoon seasons.
Wind Surfing
Bulabog beach has some of the best waters for both the experienced and those just starting out. The water is shallow enough, only hip-deep making it easy for beginners to pick up the skills. The experts can head out further to the reef to challenge themselves.

Ariel’s Point
This is one of the biggest attractions in Boracay despite the inconvenience of having to take a boat ride out to this spot. Ariel’s Point is so popular for cliff jumping that it has even been recognized by the Huffington Post as a top diving destination.
There are five diving boards with the highest at 15 meters to jump from but those who can’t fuel up the courage would be relieved to know that you can access the waters from a floating dock and paddleboard, or snorkel instead. You will also be able to get food or get liquid courage at their Open Bar.
Parasailing
Spread your wings and fly while being dragged along by a speedboat. It promises to be a thrilling experience as you soar high over the waters with nothing but a single rope tying you down to safety.
Helmet Diving
If you are deterred by diving but would like to dip your toes into the sport, you can try helmet diving. The certified dive instructors will give you an 11kg helmet which will feel relatively light when underwater to supply you with air and allow you to walk with the fishes.
Zip-Lining
Instead of the usual sitting upright style, the Happy Planet Zip-Line, and Cable Car Station will get you strapped in lying on your belly. Take a friend along as they have two lines and admire the views of the island and beaches.
Be a Mermaid For a Day
Lastly, live out your fantasies of becoming a mermaid with The Mermaid Swimming Academy. Don’t be fooled into thinking it is easy though. It requires intensive core work and many years of training to do tricks. Nevertheless, take fancy shots with your beautiful tail after swimming to show your transformation. You earned it.
