It’s your honeymoon or an annual vacation with your significant other but you two have no idea what to do or where to go in Central Vietnam? Here is our take on the best places to visit in Da Nang for both young and old couples to make great memories.
Go Café Hopping in Da Nang
Da Nang has plenty of lovely cafes that serve great drinks and food, which you read more about here: Coffee Lover's Instaworthy Guide to Da Nang. For a hearty selection of brunch and other all-day menu items, we recommend visiting a cafe like Roots, a modern plant-based café that places focus on creating healthy food made with love.

From a yummy smoothie to a well-tossed buddha bowl, scrumptious sandwiches and burgers, Roots offers deliciously clean and fresh food at reasonable prices, a perfect way to start the day!

Cook Up A Storm Together
Find out if your significant other has the knack for cooking at a local family home! Participate in a home cooking lesson in Da Nang and learn about the variety of local produce here, which includes heading down to the farmlands to learn how such aromatic plants are grown and harvested, or going to the markets to find the freshest ingredients.

Visit an Amusement Park in Da Nang
Test your limits on one of the exhilarating rides at Sun World Da Nang - Asia Park. There are so many things to do that couples can expect to spend up to half a day here depending on what rides they choose to take.

At nightfall, hop on a romantic ride on the neon-lit Sun Wheel and be awed by the spectacular views of Da Nang city when the 115 meter tall ferris wheel reaches its highest point.

A downside to this park is that the food choices are pretty limited. Luckily, a quick 5 minute walk from the theme park brings you to Helio Night Market located just around the corner of the junction, where you can get access to a wide range of cheap Asian street food.

Addresses and Opening Hours:
Sun World

Splurge on a Vietnamese Seafood Dinner
Da Nang is situated on the southern coast of Vietnam, so it’s no surprise that the availability of fresh seafood is abundant. If you two are in for a night of indulgence, or you would like to impress your date, you can visit Nhà hàng Hải sản Ngọc Hương (Ngoc Huong Seafood Restaurant) for the freshest catch of the day.

Pick your dinner from the seafood tanks that have their ‘price per kg’ tags indicated in front. The host will weigh the items and breakdown the total damage before giving the kitchen the green light to start preparing your meal. There are no menus available. Simply ask for recommendations on the method of cooking and types of sauces available. Food may be slightly costly but the service and food standard at Ngoc Huong are sure to justify the price paid.

Here’s a tip: call the restaurant ahead of time and they will send a two-way transfer taxi to your hotel for free!
