Speaking of memes 2020 memes, we cannot leave out Emily from the popular Netflix series “Emily in Paris”. This series is a comedy-drama that features the life of Emily, a driven 20-odd American who moves to Paris for a luxury marketing job.

Ever since the premiere of this show, photoshopped images of Emily taking selfies at noteworthy spots in Singapore has been trending on Twitter and Facebook. One of the spots that get many to laugh is Emily taking selfie in front of Pasir Ris MRT station. This has resulted in many comparing Pasir Ris and Paris.

Who says that Pasir Ris has nothing worth visiting? While not as old as Paris, it is still rich in history, dating back to 1844 when the East of Singapore was still a kampong. Home to the Changi Beach Club, SAF Yacht Club and Changi Airport, Pasir Ris can be just as posh as Paris when it wants to be. There are a variety of leisure activities that makes this corner of Singapore worth visiting. Check out these top 5 instagrammable attractions that even Emily can’t resist to take a selfie with!
