Miss your usual bar hangouts? Now you can get your favourite cocktails delivered to you, DIY style. As we continue to work and live with the Phase 2 measures, we’ve curated a list of some delicious DIY Cocktail Kits you can enjoy at home while we wait for our favourite watering holes to reopen.
ATLAS Bar
This 1920s’-inspired bar might be closed for now, but ATLAS brings its quality liquor islandwide with their Cocktail At Home sets. The ATLAS Home Cocktail Set: Gin + Whiskey ($340) includes Old Forester Bourbon, Fords Gin, and Angostura Bitters, among other fine liquor. It also offers a Curated Gin Subscription ($538) that delivers a box every quarter, which features an assortment of carefully selected gin, tonic, garnish, recipe cards, and more. The popular drinking establishment's home cocktail sets are in high demand, so order yours early to avoid disappointment.

The Spiffy Dapper
A quirky cocktail bar in Amoy Street, the Spiffy Dapper has since diversified its offerings to include pandemic-friendly options. Unlike any other bar, it offers masterclasses on craft cocktails and gin and tonic pairings. Their most popular workshop, a Zoom Cocktail Masterclass, walks you through making your own DIY cocktails with everything you need to make a killer drink. Choose between Anthony Zayat, the head bartender of Spiffy Dapper, or Vojta Bazant, whose last gig was heading the bar program at Bread Street Kitchen for Gordon Ramsay, as your instructor for the fun masterclass.
After you book online, a package containing booze, tools, and a cocktail recipe book will be sent to your doorstep, and all you have to do is follow along with the Zoom call. Choose from four different cocktail kits: Old Fashioned & Manhattan, Martini & Negroni, Margarita & Daiquiri, or Whiskey Sour & Clover Club. Each kit is priced at $75, and multiple cocktail kits can be delivered at the same time.

Compendium
Known for its unique heritage brews like Rojak Gin and Kopi-O Liqueur, this distillery takes its innovative concoctions online. Compendium’s DIY cocktail kits take a themed twist that will instill nostalgia with entertainment. Choose from the Reimagined Cocktail Box ($108++), a unique spin on timeless classic drinks (Rojaktini, anyone?), or the Childhood Cocktail Box ($88++), which will satisfy your inner child cravings with drinks such as Sippy Cup.
Enjoy the best of both worlds with the Childhood & Reimagined Cocktail Box Bundle ($196++), if you can’t decide. Want to stick with the classics? Compendium also offers a Signature Gin Cocktail Box ($88++) featuring their signatures such as Breakfast Negroni and Chendol Sling. Each box bundle comes with a jigger, shaker, and a cocktail recipe for a hassle-free experience.

The Alkaff Mansion
Home to Wildseed Café, TXA Gastronomy, and UNA, the Alkaff Mansion has long been a multi-concept lifestyle and dining destination. Bringing your favourites closer to home, the Alkaff Mansion has an extensive menu available for delivery, including tipples. Indulge in their cocktail concoctions which come deconstructed, giving you the fun chance of making your own DIY cocktail. Five different versions are available for order, with crowd favourites such as Thyme to Jive, The Señorita, and El Capitan. Each cocktail costs $18, but you can get the full set for $70.

Kiki’s Reserve
Switching things up is Kiki’s Reserve, a cocktail delivery service that gives you the ability to make your own personalised brew. Choose your alcohol base (vodka, gin, tequila, whiskey, or sake), share your taste preferences (be it floral, citrusy, or something else), and Kiki’s Reserve will assemble your own bespoke cocktail and deliver it to your doorstep. You can even name your personalised cocktail, which will appear on the bottle. Kiki’s Bespoke Cocktail comes in 120ml ($26) or 480ml ($100) bottles, and includes paper straws and garnishes for the full experience.
