2020 has definitely been hard on all of us - with a pandemic going on. And in tough times like these, all of us need a helping hand, some more than others. Whether it is by donating or volunteering physically or online, a little help goes a long way. So here are some ways you can help the community - even if it is just by a little bit.
Food From the Heart
Food From the Heart is an independent non-profit organisation with a vision to be the leading charity in Singapore that is devoted to “alleviating hunger through efficient distribution of food”, as stated from their website. They pride themselves on efficiency, transparency and self sufficiency to help the needy in Singapore.
They offer many different ways to help - both online and in person - by either donating money or donating dry food. They are also transparent with where your money and donations go as they have annual financial reports, which can be found on their website.
