Party people, this one’s for you. Singapore has plenty of clubs, but there’s a select few where the music, ambience and clientele mean you’re guaranteed a good time. Here’s our roundup of the best nightclubs in Singapore.
Bang Bang
Having been around a few years, Bang Bang is not the newest kid on the block, but it remains one of Singapore’s trendiest nightclubs. Located on the grounds of the Pan Pacific hotel, the line is out the door by 9pm, even on a weekday night. The electric atmosphere and sophisticated crowds make this the preferred party destination of popular stars like LMFAO and will.i.am who have partied here when in town.
The sound system is state of the art by L’Acoustics, and emphasises the deep bass of the deep house tunes blaring from its speakers, giving guests an adrenaline rush as they party to a stream of international guest DJs spinning music from hip-hop to EDM. The club also boosts a 45 foot long high-resolution LED wall. Come dressed to impress to fit in, but also because there is a dress code.
Marquee
Marquee has been a hot favourite of local and international revelers since its opening in 2019. Located in the ever-popular Marina Bay area, the club has hosted an array of international acts such as A$AP Rocky, Afrojack, and Tiesto. The club itself has fun features such as slides, a ferris wheel, and photobooths.
Having previously made waves in New York, Sydney, and Las Vegas, Marquee’s expansion into Singapore has made it one of the most popular clubs in Asia, and the largest in Singapore. Until a new challenger emerges, it is the undisputed top club in town.
Cherry Discotheque
You know they’re cool when they’re only open two days a week. Formerly the party place of choice for guests at the York Hotel, Cherry Discotheque now welcomes cool kids from everywhere else. Unlike the other clubs on this list, Cherry attracts a more local crowd of revelers, making it the perfect place to immerse yourself in the Singapore party culture. Hip-hop lovers will love the tunes here – the club is dedicated to showcasing the best of new and old artists. Located centrally on Cecil street in the city, they’re easily found by following the bright neon lights.
Zouk
An iconic club has been entertaining partygoers since the early 90s and has retained its grungy charm. Don’t believe us? Head over on a Wednesday night – the line is always out the door. Zouk hosts a local and international crowd of guests, and entertains with their unique blend of popular Mandopop, K-Pop, and English pop music.
Inspired by the underground warehouse scene, the interior is dim and gets pretty packed so be prepared. The partying is well worth braving the crowds, and if you ever get tired of one bar, you can always skip over to the next – there are five to choose from!
Altimate
Dinner, drinks, and dancing – all in one place. Altimate provides the all-in-one night out in one place, meaning you won’t have to catch a cab from your pregame bar to the club. Fuel up for a night of fun at Stellar, pregame at 1-Altitude gallery and Bar, and then enjoy 360 degree views of Singapore before you make your way over to Altimate and dance the night away. Located on the 61st level of Raffles Place, you can say this club offers a higher experience than any of the others on our list, but that isn’t just what makes them unique. Brainchild of acclaimed designer Ed Poole, this club holds its own with others on this list, with plush interiors and booth seating alongside state of the art LED lighting technology.
