Movies take us into different worlds where magic and fantasy are real, so it is no wonder that fans travel to filming spots to catch those elusive moments. Arguably, some enjoy chasing their favorite celebrities to get a glimpse into the world of stardom. Whatever your reason is, movies capture the imagination and so are the places where they are filmed.

Spiderman’s Far from Home movie is no exception, with the spotlight on Peter Parker’s adventures through Europe. In the hopes of bonding with his friends and wooing his crush, Spiderman is continuously deterred by the villain Mysterio in these spots of Prague.

Charles Bridge

As seen in the movie (picture above), this beautiful baroque and gothic bridge built-in 1357 crosses the Vltava river and provides a lovely view of the city, especially at night. While Peter certainly chose the right setting to confess his feelings for MJ, it was sadly interrupted by their discovery of Mysterio’s weapon. What a bummer.

While this bridge is not known for romance, as it’s usually a tad more crowded… it is known for its famous statues that can bring you luck and a chance to return to the city one day.

Vinohrady Theatre

To the disappointment of Peter’s classmates, they are scheduled to watch an opera instead of attending the Festival of Lights. After clumsy attempts of flirting at the Vinohrady Theatre (picture below), Peter sneaks out and so does a few of his friends.

The theatre has been standing for a century and hosts play in addition to operas. It is decorated in paintings and sculptures of the renaissance style, featuring figures from greek mythology. Famously, it has a painted curtain of a naked muse.

Opera and drama lovers who are interested to watch a show can book their tickets here!

Signal festival

Speaking of the Light Festival, Prague doesn’t celebrate it. Instead, they have a signal festival that involves shining lights and lasers in formations on buildings. Doesn’t this ring a bell when you consider Mysterio’s powers?

This festival takes place over four days annually in October with light installations from artists worldwide, on streets, and famous buildings.

For more information on exact spots to see, you can refer to their website!

Now that you know where Spiddy went, are you going to follow his web? I certainly enjoyed watching the movie and wouldn’t mind getting entangled.
