Plant-based dining is an increasingly popular lifestyle around the world, where more people are changing their dietary preferences to include more vegetarian food! A common motivation is often the promised health benefits where vegetarian food is generally thought to be relatively higher in fibre and lower in cholesterol or salt. Advocates against animal cruelty are also turning to vegetarian food options!
Many friends who are vegetarian often face the question: “Don’t you get tired of vegetarian food?” It is often thought that the food options they have are quite limited, which could make it boring for them but this article will debunk that common misconception!
We have approached a few friends who are vegan and what their favourite vegan restaurants in Singapore are! According to cuisine, we have listed some of the places they recommended!
Afterglow by Anglow (Fusion Cuisine)
Afterglow strongly believes that ‘food is made to grow from a seed into a fruit or herb, according to its kind’ and since they opened, they have been coming up with new cool food items!
With a 100% plant-based menu, you will find intriguing dishes such as Salted “Eggless” Yolk Burger, ‘Tuna’ Tartare Dip Platter, flaxseed nuggets and more! Our vegan friends have told us that their sauces, patties and even cheeses are completely made out of plants!
