Affordable shopping, great massages, exciting watersports, it’s not surprising that Singaporeans flock to Batam for a getaway. If you’re here for more than a day trip, you won’t want to miss Batam’s luxurious resorts. From watersports like flyboarding and jet skiing to relaxing spas, you’ll be glued to your resort for the entire weekend!
KTM Resort (Starts at SGD51 per night)
You don’t have to fly to Bali for a rustic resort experience. All of the stilt houses in KTM Resort overlook the sea so that guarantees that you’ll have a good view, regardless of which room you pick.
What makes KTM great is the facilities. Apart from your standard water sports like wakeboarding and jet skiing, you have other exciting options like paintball and archery. You can also spend an evening at their picturesque fishing deck where some lucky guests have managed to reel in squid!

Montigo has quickly become one of the most highly-rated resorts in Batam. The “Santorini” feel of the resort is certainly one of the main reasons for this. With its pristine white and blue walls along with its cleanly cut edges, it’s absolutely Insta-worthy.
Montigo also has a wide range of activities, some of which include water sports, dirt track driving, yoga classes, and traditional cooking classes among many others. They also have a mangrove tour if you’re looking for something more nature-filled.

On that note, they’ve got most of the sought after recreational activities in Batam. Want to go for a couple of swings? They have a shuttle service to the golf course at Indah Puri. Don’t know where to leave the kids? There’s a games room with lots of toys and consoles to choose from.

Turi Beach Resort (The most halal-friendly; Starts at SGD96 per night)
Turi Beach has everything, even a halal-certified restaurant (which is quite hard to come by among resorts)! Every resort seems to have the usual water sports like jet skiing and wakeboarding, but Turi Beach stands out by being the only one with flyboarding. The beach also happens to be one of the quieter ones in Batam, so take full advantage of that!
