Looking for something niu (new) to try out this Chinese New Year? Why not head down to Cult Sliders’ new location at Boat Quay and try out some of their CNY-themed dishes!
With a new location and a delectable menu, Cult Sliders are the new kids on the block. Founded in 2016, Cult Sliders was inspired by the underground Hip-Hop culture and edginess, which has been incorporated into their craft of serving up handcrafted sliders. This Muslim-owned brand prides itself on serving up 100% Halal dishes, representing a core aspect of serving all communities equally.
Once known as 21 Sliders, this stall has recently rebranded themselves as Cult Sliders. But don’t worry, their sliders are still as scrumptious as before! For over 4 years, Cult Sliders have been humbly honing their craft every day through catering and night market pop-ups. Soon, they started to serve up their mouthwatering sliders at events from the Guess x A$AP Rocky collaboration party to Neon Lights, an indie music festival.
In the spirit of Chinese New Year, Cult Sliders have put together a mouthwatering menu to celebrate the festivities this season. Of course, they will be serving up their highly loved specialty: big flavours in small packages!
Available from 1st February to 1st March 2021, visit Cult Sliders and dine on their unique Lunar New Year-themed menu, featuring their 3 new themed sliders: The A$AP, The Huat Cheong Gai, and The Salted 8!
In the mood for beef? Try their A$AP (Always Strive and Prosper) slider which features a juicy and flavourful grilled beef patty topped with American cheese and onlines! If you aren’t a fan of beef, get their Huat Cheong Gai slider — perfectly fried chicken thigh seasoned with prawn paste batter, topped with Thai chili sauce. If you are feeling adventurous, why not go for their Salted 8 slider with their tender cut chicken dressed in salted egg yolk — for all the salted egg yolk fans out there!
If you need something sweet after a savoury meal, get a Sweet Baller Set, where you can delight in a Basque burnt cheesecake, in collaboration with Burnt Bakes! Choose from a variety of flavours from original to durian sea salt.
Although Cult Sliders are fairly new to Boat Quay’s dining scene, their unique menu they offer definitely makes them stand out. Be sure to head on down to Cult Sliders to get a taste of the New Year!
