Seeing how we probably won’t be able to travel anytime in the foreseeable future, some of us might be in desperate need of a change of scenery —  we get it. Going on a staycation at a hotel seems like an obvious choice, but how about switching it up by booking your next staycation at an upscale serviced apartment instead?

Here are some properties that come fully-furnished with everything you need, and more. Ready to pack your bags and go?

Pronounced as “hamlet”, Hmlet Cantonment definitely lives up to its name as a cozy abode. A boutique co-living space, this serviced apartment offers both long-term (at least three months) and short-term stays (minimum six nights). If you’re getting weary of the view at home, a staycation at Hmlet might just be the thing you need.

Hmlet Cantonment offers a total of six room types, from the small to the 2-bedroom with kitchen. All rooms are fully-furnished with an en-suite bathroom, ensuring you have everything you need within arm’s reach. But if you ever require anything else, the apartment is just a 10-minute walk from Tanjong Pagar (EW15) and Outram Park (EW16/NE3) MRT. Hop on a train and you’ll be at the popular shopping districts of Somerset and Orchard, which are located only a few stops away.

Apart from the usual amenities — a pool, laundrette, an outdoor deck and garden, and a canteen that doubles up as a lounge area — Hmlet Cantonment has a yoga studio (Warrior Studios) that guests can use when there are no classes. Speaking of which: you’ll also be able to enjoy 15% off all yoga classes and packages as a guest here.

Don’t forget to explore the surrounding vicinity, which is home to a plethora of cafes and restaurants serving up amazing food and drink (Duxton Hill is a great place to start).

While Coliwoo has several apartments across the island, the one at Keppel is probably the swankiest of the lot. Their Keppel apartments are also the newest, and were only recently launched earlier this year.

There are four different types of suites to choose from, all of which feature air-conditioning, a kitchenette complete with a fridge, a smart TV, unlimited fibre broadband, and more. Rooms are designed in a contemporary fashion, with neutral colours used throughout the suites to keep things simple and minimalistic.

Housekeeping services are provided thrice a week if you require any. Residents can also enjoy free access to the property’s communal lounge and private backyard.
