1. St. Stephen's Cathedral

3. The Donauturm

4. Naturhistorische Museum

5. The Riesenrad
The Viennese Giant Ferris Wheel is a 19th-century landmark that stands at 65 meters tall. Aboard the iconic red gondolas, the entire trip takes about 12-15 minutes. While there are taller places to get a view over the city, it is the experience here that we are going for, and is an especially great activity for families and couples visiting Vienna.

You might think that an aquarium is a rather strange place to view the city from, but once you get a look at the city from the top of the Haus des Meeres, you’ll understand why it's in our picks. 7. Praterturm
If you’re a thrill-seeker, this would be the experience for you. Found in the Wurstelprater amusement park, at 117 meters high, this swing carousel definitely isn’t for the faint-hearted.
