Mandai Track 15
Mandai Track 15 is another popular off-road biking trail, which is more widely known as the Mandai T-15 trail. The terrain on the trail is smoother compared to more challenging trails such as the Bukit Timah Mountain Bike Trail, but its 7 km length makes it a test in endurance.
The trail features muddy terrain, uneven paths, and a scenic view of the Central Catchment Nature Reserve. If you’re lucky, you can even spot unusual insects and rare animal sightings such as the Oriental Whip Snake and Sambar Deer. Do note the Mandai T-15 trail is shared between hikers and bikers, so the latter group should exercise caution while cycling on the trail.

The Chestnut Biking Trail forms part of the Northern Biking Loop, and has something for bikers across all difficulty levels. Making use of its natural landscape in the trail, the gentle climb and smooth descent seem deceptively easy, but some technique is needed to execute a flawless ascent and descent.

Ketam Mountain Bike Park
For a true off-road experience, leave mainland Singapore for a few hours and take a ferry to Pulau Ubin, where Ketam Mountain Bike Park awaits. This place is a biker’s paradise with more than 10 km of mountain bike trails catering to both leisure cycling, as well as international competitions. The park is the best place to visit for competitive bikers as it is the first in Singapore to meet international standards for mountain biking competitions.
Ride down winding rustic trails with plenty of airtime, while nearby shelters and lookout points add to the scenery. Bikers can also catch a glimpse of the disused Ketam Quarry, re-landscaped into the bike park and helping in nature rehabilitation and conservation. This is also where nature enthusiasts can spot wildlife such as the Red-wattled Lapwing and Baya Weaver along the trail.
