Did you know that ‘pineapple’ literally translates to ‘fortune come’ in Hokkien? Pineapple tarts are a treat beloved by all races, and now bakers are getting creative with them. There is a plethora of flavours, some of which may sound weird but definitely have an attraction to them. Ultimately, the best pineapple tarts lie in their pineapple filling and crust so here are our top six favourites for the best pineapple tarts in Singapore.

Ding Bakery

With several mentions over various food blogs and reviewers, Ding Bakery prides itself on blowing their customers’ taste buds with their amazing Pineapple Tarts (Ball). They have even guaranteed that this is the snack to impress house guests with. Their pineapple tarts are amazing because they melt in the mouth — making the tarts absolutely soft, creamy and tame to the tongue. Often, when this happens it tends to leave an oily and icky feel on the tongue but Ding Bakery ensures that none of that happens with all of their products.

Thankfully, Butter Studio’s Parmesan Cheese Pineapple Melts are simply to die for. It has the perfect combination of sweet and salty so it eliminates the ‘sick of it’ feeling that we often get from excessive snacking. Additionally, close to its name, they only use top-quality butter in all their products ensuring a silky feel in their customers’ mouths.
