Originating in Scandinavia to mark the Feast of the Annunciation, waffles were concurrently eaten as a tradition. The Swedish called it Vårfrudagen, which eventually translated to Waffle Day if you said it fast enough. And so, World Waffle Day was born, and eventually caught on internationally. In celebration of World Waffle Day, we’ve curated a list of the best waffles in Singapore!
