Fortitude Valley is Australia’s oldest designated entertainment precinct, and there’s plenty to do on weekends. We’ve taken all the guesswork out of your perfect Saturday night – just add friends.
Dinner at Tinderbox
Fuel up before hitting the town at the Valley’s best-loved pizza joint. The pizzas here come in a variety of flavours - Margherita, Funghi, and the ever-popular Tinderbox – a unique combination of zucchini, chili, and prawns, which works surprisingly well. There is also a selection of fine Australian wines to suit every taste and price point.

Pre-drinks at Ric’s Bar
After dinner, it’s time for some of the Valley’s best tunes. With live music almost every night, cheap drinks, and a fun atmosphere, there’s no better place to get the party started. Ric’s has something for everyone – a dancefloor with pounding beats upstairs and open-air seating areas below.

Have some fun at Holey Moley
After having a couple more drinks, putt your hand-eye coordination to the test at this indoor mini-golf course. The Valley’s course is best enjoyed after a boozy night. Navigate a series of quirky courses based on pop culture and try to get a hole-in-one. It’s not as easy as you might think!

Dance the night away at The Met
There are five bars spread across three floors at this super-club, so even the pickiest people are sure to find something they like. Enjoy groovy underground dance music at Coco, or bust a move to more mainstream dance hits in the main room. If bottle service and a bird’s eye view are more your styles, the Spy Bar is the place for you.
