I love supporting home-based bakeries because they are always so generous with their ingredients and truly bake out of passion and love.

Throwback to this beautiful box of assorted festive cronuts from FLAKE that I had on Christmas! It was indeed a perfect marriage between a croissant and donut. 🥐🍩

These cronuts (that comes in both sweet and savoury flavours) were so indulgent with a generous amount of filling, fully bringing out the flavours in each one. I also loved the mix of textures with a soft, chewy doughnut inside and a crispy exterior although I do wish the "flakiness" of a croissant was brought out more.

In their festive box, it had Meaty Pot, Truffle Cream, V.Bolognese, Peppermint S'mores, Raspberry Cheese and Eggnog! I personally enjoyed the Truffle cream and Eggnog the most! The eggnog even comes with a 4ml rum pipette which really enhances the overall flavour profile of the cronut after pumping the alcohol in!
