A Trip During The Pandemic

Paris

In Dec 2019, I went to Europe for a holiday. In Nov 2019, COVID-19 was discovered. Soooo.... I did technically go on a trip during the pandemic no? Sorry for the clickbait!

Nevertheless, it was a wonderful experience. I've always dreamt of travelling to Europe, especially Paris. Over the span of 10 days, my tour group travelled to the Netherlands, Germany, France, Switzerland and the UK. (London, to be specific.)

We went to Amsterdam first, and it was gorgeous. Or maybe simply because its not my own country that's why lol. We went to visit the Dam Square, Royal Palace, as well as a Cheese Factory. Man, all in one day lol. Still fun!

After that, we packed our bags and went to Heidelberg, Germany. It was during the Christmas season, so they had all sorts of Christmas markets. Ate a lot, shopped a lot = spent a lot. Not "a lot of" regrets though!

Thereafter, we went to Lucerne in Switzerland. Didn't spend much here cause the average price of goods there were more than my allowance..... but did a lot of sightseeing, such as Pilatus Mountain, Rhine Falls, and Chapel Bridge.

Aaaand finally we went to Paris! Nearly cried seeing the Eiffel Tower up close. Took a thousand pictures hahaha. But I must say the food portion is x100 of Singapore's.......

And our last stop was London. Spent quite a few days here, and also met up with a friend studying there. London was where I shopped the most for sure lol (Primark!!)

Would love to travel again, but I would love for the pandemic to settle down more. Until then, I'll just visit Jewel to eat and shop, not to fly.
