The Jjangmyeon (black bean noodles) $14 didn’t taste as good as i remember it used to be...hardly any meat & the black sauce was rather watery. We also ordered the Lunch Special (rice + tofu & seafood soup + 1 side - we chose fried chicken) for $20. Generous serving of soup with clams & tofu, fried chicken was nicely crispy & tender inside. I suppose the fried chicken is still their best selling menu, so will stick to ordering that when eating here.
The Place
Arisun has outlets across Sydney and offers you a selection of the typical Korean dishes like Jajjangmyeon (Black bean noodles), Kimchi Jigae (Kimchi Stew) and more. Although, we can't deny that a plate of crispy, succulent and flavoured KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) with a cold glass of Somaek (Soju and Beer cocktail) is the perfect way to end the busy work week.

2 Jul 2020Glad one of my favourite restaurants have reopened for dine in. They have a record keeping system and staff help to hand sanitiser before entry into store which i found quite professional and felt safe to dine at this venue. As always the food and service was great

22 May 2020Very disappointed. Never come back! We ordered pork knuckles, fried chicken and beef short rib soup as takeaway. There was a black thin metal wire in the pork knuckles which almost scratched my gum. Seriously how could a chef be so careless not to remove the wire? It could hurt someone! Some of the fried chicken was off. We could taste the strange taste near the bone and meat. We were guessing they were so quiet so they could not sell the chicken before the expiry date!

28 Apr 2019I've been going to Arisun for years and it has been consistent all this time. We usually get their soy garlic fried chicken, black bean noodles (get the jumbo noodles if a group of 4+ people and are feeling hungry or greedy), and the hot pot with rice cakes, noodles and sausages. We love getting the soju too. Service is decent, most of the staff are from Korea and communication can be a bit tricky at times but they are always helpful

27 Apr 2020From their snow-cheese chicken, hot pots, and black bean noodles, (also shook to find some friendly fries on the menu :) this restaurant offers a fantastic range of Korean food. The place is buzzing on weeknights so be prepared to wait in line or make reservations. Some foods can be very spicy so be aware to look at the ingredients listed under the recipe. Definitely a great place to kick-start your Korean food adventures and enjoy some classic black bean noodles :)
