Fantastic small family run hostel than welcome you with open heart and delicious food. You are sure to make some friends there (note there were two people who returned there for the fourth people because they love the place so much). I really enjoy all the thoughtfully detail from the happy quote, to the free nail polish and the postcards service to the little box to put almonds in it. It is also in a very convenient location. And there is a cherry on the cake the garden you can on the 5th floor of banghok... Such a gem ...
The Place
Unlike most hostels, Hom Cooking Hostel is actually located in a mall, Nana Square. However, don't be deceived by its location, as this is a boutique hostel that offers high-quality accomodation at affordable prices. What makes this hostel so unique is its large, fully equipped kitchen, where you not only have everything you need to make your own meal, but the hostel even hosts Thai cooking classes where you can learn how to make some Authentic Thai dishes. After cooking, head out to the rooftop garden where you can get a great view of the city.

16 Oct 2019Really does feel like home with a shared place to relax and eat. Staff were extremely kind and helpful, often taking the initiative to help. Would stay at this place over any expensive hotel any day!

25 Apr 2019Stayed there from 20-23 Apr 2019. Excellent service. Comfy beds. Beautiful and clean. Yummy free breakfast. Fast wifi. Lovely garden. Lockers are a bit small but they were alright for my needs. The only thing I would change is how far the toilets are from the rooms. They are used by other people in Nana Square (not just hostel guests) also so, in that respect, your experience will not be very private. I got a lot of alone time in the toilets during earlier/later hours though so it's not that bad.
