Run a quick google search for “the best ramen in Sapporo”, and you’ll be likely to see Ramen Shingen on any list. With perpetually long queues, this tiny restaurant has carved its way into the hearts of many with their offering of traditional Sapporo-style ramen. The queue moves fast though; people aren’t here for the ambience, they eat, pay and leave. If you want a good ol’ bowl of miso ramen with no frills attached, this is where you’ll get it.

17 Feb 2020I didn’t have to wait long. Broth was good, it had a deep rich flavour, a little on the salty side. Dumplings were good. Fried rice was okay.

14 Feb 2020This small very local ramen restaurant has everything you want, fast service, excellent ramen and a large variety of side dishes. Extremely recommend. Also don't get discouraged by the cue it may seem long but advances pretty fast.

16 Dec 2019One of the best ramen i ever had. The noodles is chewy. Meat is incredibly delicious. And the soup is something. U should try this went visit Sapporo. The only bad thing is, the place quite far from main station.

19 Jul 2020Have English menu. I ordered the spicy miso with pork slices. I went around 11:30 PM early summer but the shop was still packed.Only had to wait only for a minute. The Ramen noodles was bouncy and nice. But I care more about the broth and the rich umami flavor with spiciness made the broth really really good. Costed just 800 yen, cheap 👏🏻
