Super delicious! Enjoy every bits. You can really taste the rich flavoured Ebi broth. Came about 6pm and the queue wasn’t that long. Worth to visit!
The Place
A ramen chain originating in Hokkaido, so popular that it has now expanded to cater to those in Tokyo. Their name is derived from their offering of ramen. “Ebi” means shrimp and unlike other ramen restaurants, their soup stock is made from shrimp, lending to a savoury and sweet broth full of umami flavour. “Soba” refers to chuka-soba, the older name of ramen which references its roots in Chinese cuisine.

There are three offerings of soup types here: Miso, Shoyu, and Shio. Being in Sapporo, we’d definitely recommend the miso, but no matter which type of ramen base you pick, the creamy and delicate shrimp-broth shines through, packing a ton of flavour in every bite.

19 Jul 2020Went around 9 pm and got in without any wait. Friendly staff. They have English menu and as a big fan of shrimp, I choose original soup rich in shrimp flavor and shrimp-miso seasoning The shrimp taste in the soup wasn’t as strong as I expected.

24 Jul 2020We came at 9 PM on Friday. It took 1 hour for waiting. They had shrimp ramen with three flavors and three kind of soups. If you like light bites, try the "sonomama" soup. Always, the egg is amazing.

2 Feb 2020Worth the hype!!! Absolutely yummy broth that you can't really find elsewhere. Beware, it's busy! Even getting there 5 minutes after they opened, seats were filled and I had to wait about 20 minutes. But they have very efficient and friendly service (English available) so I would definitely go back! Not just a tourist trap, there are many locals who eat here too
