It's okay. But the price tag does not commensurate with the quality of the product. After having it, it just feels...bereft. The crust is brittle, without much flavor. It needs more butter, more crumble- something to make it more of a stand out complement to the filling. The lemon curd was whipped to silky perfection, but it should have been served cold, to retain that silken, velvety texture. The meringue was light. Too light. Make it more sticky, more creamy- some heft, you know? But that was sacrificed for the beautiful, concentric piping. The chocolate tart was meh. It was bitter, not enough sweetness. The filling was too light an insubstantial. Nothing tastes bad. But nothing stands out either. For the price tag, you're better off elsewhere I'm afraid. But if you want an aesthetic, instagrammable dish, this is for you. It's all about what you're after.

30 Sep 2021One of my most memorable moments at Les Amis was meeting chef Cheryl Koh, whom I have always been such a big fan of for years! Though she was busy and we only got to take a photo together between a glass window, I am so glad I got to meet her in person. . I’ve gotten to know Cheryl’s beautiful craftsmanship for desserts from her spin-off concept shop - @tarte , and this pastry chef’s attention to details, from the tarts to the decor. All the tarts are made from scratch right here from this pastry corner of Les Amis’ kitchen, and the combinations of fruits, flavours and textures are just superb. This place is a must for afternoon teas with girlfriends to business meetings. . Tarts at Taste are always in perfect condition, and good news, they offer takeaways and deliveries! Even their packaging for takeaways are also absolutely exquisite in beautiful colors of pink and neon green trims. . Thank you Cheryl for all the extra desserts at Les Amis, and I tried to break into your ice cream vault and failed! 🤣 Manoj made it to it! ( Just kidding!) . Hope to one day to finally meet you in person, and hope you see this post so you can see how much your innovative creations are loved by everyone!

7 May 2023Tarts are good. Americano is rubbish. Coffees are generally more expensive than the tarts. We tried strawberry, chocolate, chocolate mousse and a hazelnut based pastry. All very good but pricey. Four tarts and three coffees and we are about $80 poorer

7 Jun 2023We had the kalamansi tart, the Cherry tart and the lychee tart. Holy moly!! All 3 were delish, and their coffee was very good also. Reasonably priced, and the couches are comfy!!!!

2 May 2023Got the mango tart and choux pastry, as well as flat white. Everything cost ~$50. Overall taste is quite decent, would come back to try other items. That said, it is quite pricey and i feel sitting down to eat would be nicer since the place has good ambience too
